Lesson Description
Your child will be lovingly instructed one-on-one by a highly qualified, certified ISR instructor. Lessons are customized to your child and are conducted in productive ten-minute sessions, five days per week, Monday through Friday, for four to six weeks.
ISR swimming lessons emphasize developmentally appropriate instruction, health issues and considerations, ongoing program evaluation, and parent education to achieve the most effective and safest results in the industry. Your child will never be thrown into the water and will always be accompanied by his or her instructor.
Children may begin lessons at any time from 6 months to 6 years of age, and every child learns at his or her own pace. Infants 6 to 12 months learn to hold their breath underwater, roll onto their back, and float unassisted. Children over 1 year learn how to hold their breath underwater, swim with their head down, roll onto their back to float, rest, and breathe, and roll back over to resume swimming until they reach the side of the pool and can crawl out or be rescued by an adult.
